The best morimens team comps in V2.6.2 are built around one realm, plus an Awakener who upgrades that realm for the whole team. Saya leads Caro teams, Arachne leads Ultra, Murphy: Fauxborn or Pontos lead Aequor, and Lotan: Cetarchon or Vivian lead all-Chaos teams. Chaos Awakeners are the usual partner for the other three realms.
This guide is based on official Steam patch notes, developer logs and Awakener introductions up to the V2.6.2.0 update (October 19, 2026). The rules sections are sourced. The sample cores are editorial suggestions as of V2.6.2 (October 2026), with the kit reason behind each one. Infographic numbers are internal test-server values and can differ in game.
01
How team building works in Morimens
- Shared deck. The official Steam store page describes bonding with Awakeners and building your deck from them, so a team is also a deck.
- Team size. Lineups appear to hold four Awakeners, because kit text such as Murphy: Fauxborn's bonus "when there are 1/2/3 other Lemurian Awakeners in the team" is written for that size. We did not find a patch note that states the number outright.
- Two realms at most. Since V2.0.0.0 (January 2025), a lineup can mix any two realms, and a realm's talent is active as long as one of its Awakeners is in the team. V2.4.2.0 fixed a bug that let three realms appear in a lineup.
- Pure teams double Realm Mastery. A team made of only one realm's Awakeners gets that realm's Mastery effect doubled. The developers referred to this "existing doubled Realm Mastery effect for pure teams" again on October 17, 2026. See our Realm Mastery guide.
- Chaos as a partner. Under the V2.0 rules, a Chaos Awakener in a mixed team switches off some Chaos bonuses, including Chaos Mastery, but keeps the other realm's pure effect active and adds a symbiosis bonus.
02
Realm-changing Awakeners
Several Awakeners turn your realm into a second-generation version when they join the team. Per the official kit text, each version adds +50% team DMG Amplification and doubles it for a pure team.
| Realm version | Created by | Counts as pure with |
|---|---|---|
| Propagation: Caro | Saya, Caraboo | Caro or Chaos Awakeners |
| Singularity: Ultra | Arachne | Ultra or Chaos Awakeners |
| Benthos: Aequor | Murphy: Fauxborn, Pontos, Vortice (same talent name) | Aequor and Chaos Awakeners |
| Primordia: Chaos | Lotan: Cetarchon, Vivian, Ogier: Oathbound | Chaos Awakeners only |
Primordia: Chaos has an "Indivisible Realm" rule that turns off other realms' pure-realm and doubling effects. So don't add Lotan: Cetarchon, Vivian or Ogier: Oathbound as the Chaos partner in a Saya, Arachne or Pontos team. For classic Chaos, Tawil, 24 and Lily make better partners.
03
Best team comps by realm
Every core below is editorial judgement as of V2.6.2. Swap in what you own, and check the tier list for alternatives.
Chaos
Lotan: Cetarchon, Vivian, Ogier: Oathbound, Tawil. Primordia: Chaos only doubles its bonus in an all-Chaos team, so this core stays pure. Lotan: Cetarchon's Deadly Duel steals up to 10 Aliemus from every ally. Vivian gives one Awakener 30 Aliemus and can brew a potion that gives all Awakeners 10. Ogier: Oathbound's Exalt adds Shield and STR, and Tawil boosts allies whose cards Tawil plays. In Primordia: Chaos, your equipped Posse is replaced by two options that Discover Posses from your hand.
Aequor
Murphy: Fauxborn, Pontos, Miryam, Tulu. Murphy: Fauxborn creates Benthos: Aequor and strengthens Lemurian allies. With other Lemurians in the team, Tulu makes enemies take up to 50% more Tentacle DMG, and Miryam's team Tentacle DMG bonus rises by up to 30%. Pontos's Exalt deals Fixed DMG equal to 6,000% of Tentacle DMG, so every Tentacle boost feeds it. Goliath and Faros are other Lemurians if you need a swap.
Caro
Saya, Helot: Catena, Thais, Caraboo or Pickman. Saya creates Propagation: Caro. At the start of each turn, every Awakener gains Propagation Frenzy, which strengthens their next Exalt. Saya's Exalt copies another Awakener's basic cards and grants Shield. Thais's Exalt copies Command Cards, and Helot: Catena is the main damage dealer after the V2.5.1 buffs. Caraboo adds a second Propagation enabler with area damage. Pickman's Exalt instead boosts Exalt damage, Shield and healing.
Ultra
Arachne, Pollux, Castor, Clementine or Horla. Arachne creates Singularity: Ultra, and a pure Ultra (or Ultra plus Chaos) team doubles its Mastery and DMG Amplification. Pollux's talent damage doubles in boss battles, and one of his cards goes to your hand when an Ultra Round starts. Castor gives other Awakeners a fixed 35% Crit. DMG. In classic Ultra, the developers say mixed-realm teams currently lose 25% of several effects during Ultra Turns, so classic Ultra also favors pure teams for now.
04
Teams for Saya, Pontos, G. Murphy, Helot and Thais
- Saya (Caro, Chorus). Use her in Caro teams or Caro plus classic Chaos teams. With Soulforge Aptitude, her Exalt also makes the next Posse take effect twice.
- Pontos (Aequor, Warden). Pair him with Tentacle DMG boosters such as Miryam. His Exalt also lowers all enemies' STR, which helps against boss hits.
- G. Murphy. Community shorthand for Murphy: Fauxborn (Aequor, Chorus); official notes never use the "G." name. Build the Lemurian Aequor core above.
- Helot. There are two. Helot: Catena (Caro, Assault), often written "G. Helot", is the Caro damage dealer. Helot (Caro) gains a Crit. DMG boost after consuming an Embryo, so she also belongs in Caro teams. A Caro buff for her is planned.
- Thais (Caro, Chorus). Pair Thais with Helot: Catena, whose cards are worth copying. V2.5.1 also raised the STR from basic Strike and Defense by 200% through Enlighten 3.

Posses, lineup codes and support Awakeners
Each lineup carries one Posse, chosen on the Lineup screen. Normally, unleashing the Posse costs Keyflare. Many Posses unlocked from story chapters give a bonus to one specific Awakener:
| Posse | Bonus Awakener | Effect for that Awakener |
|---|---|---|
| For the New World | Saya | Gains 1 Gynoecium |
| Hollow One | Pontos | Gains 1 Pack Hunt |
| Orbis Fatum | Arachne | Draws an Eternal Loom at 1 less cost |
| Evil from the Dark Night | Vivian | Potion Cauldron countdown -1 |
| That Which is No Lie | Caraboo | Next Benediction has no negative effects; the team also gets 20 Realm Mastery |
Since V2.4.0 (November 2025), you can copy a lineup, share its code and import other Keepers' codes. V2.6.2 fixed codes that failed to import bound Covenants. You can unlock up to 10 lineup slots, priced at 500 Root Sediment each in V2.1.0. The Handbook's Growth Guide now lists official Lineup Recommendations for each Awakener. You can also borrow a friend's Awakener through Select Support. Build more than one team, because the D-Effect Zone again lets you attempt extra challenges with five teams.
06
Changes planned after V2.6.2
The October 17, 2026 developer log plans several changes, all subject to testing:
- A Realm Charge system for the active abilities of second-generation realms
- Propagule Embryos that carry over between battles
- Crimson Frenzy for classic Caro
- Removal of classic Ultra's mixed-realm penalty
- +250 Realm Mastery for pure second-generation teams
We will update these cores when the changes go live.

FAQ
What is the best team in Morimens right now?
As of V2.6.2, our pick is a Propagation: Caro team of Saya, Helot: Catena, Thais and Caraboo or Pickman. The Aequor core of Murphy: Fauxborn, Pontos, Miryam and Tulu is a close second.
What is a good Morimens beginner team for story?
Try Helot: Catena, Thais and Tawil, which are all in the standard Realms Research banner, plus a fourth Caro or Chaos Awakener, borrowed through Select Support if needed. Mixing Caro with Chaos keeps Caro's pure effect active.
How do I share a Morimens team with a lineup code?
Open Lineup, copy the lineup's code and send it. The other Keeper imports it on the same screen. Players often post codes on r/Morimens.
Can I use three realms in one team?
No. A lineup can contain at most two realms, and only a pure team gets the doubled Realm Mastery effect.
