Morimens characters are called Awakeners. Each one belongs to one of four realms (Chaos, Aequor, Caro or Ultra), and official banner notes also give most limited Awakeners one of three classes: Assault, Warden or Chorus. Official English notes through V2.6.2 name 62 Awakeners. The newest is Vivian, a Chaos Chorus Awakener whose banner runs from October 19 to November 16, 2026.

This list uses only official Steam announcements and patch notes published between the August 2024 Steam launch and the V2.6.2 maintenance notice (October 17, 2026). It covers Awakeners confirmed in those English notes, so it may not match the full in-game roster, and a few names appear under older translations. A class is shown only where an official post states it.

Morimens Awakeners list by realm and class

The V2.5.0 notes (April 2026) finished giving every Awakener an Absolute Axiom effect and grouped that batch by realm. V2.5.1 confirms the realm of the eight that came earlier, and later Awakeners come from their own event notes. Classes come from banner listings, such as the V2.5.1 "Echoing Wishes" rotation, and official introductions.

A few notes on the table:

  • The Ogier: Oathbound introduction gives the class as Warden, while the V2.6.1 patch notes use the older wording "DEF Type".
  • 2024 notes used Damage, Support and Defense for the same Awakeners. Lily, for example, was "Defense" then and is "Warden" now.

Pontos, for example, is an Aequor Warden in the V2.5.2 patch notes. For what each realm does in battle, see the realms guide.

Awakener variants explained

Some Awakeners share a name with an older one and add a title after a colon: Murphy: Fauxborn, Ramona: Timeworn, Lotan: Cetarchon, Ogier: Oathbound, Helot: Catena and Doll: Inferno. Official notes treat each one as a separate Awakener, with separate entries in banners, balance changes and Absolute Axiom lists.

  • Murphy is an Aequor Warden whose recommended Wheel is "Shrouded Birth". Murphy: Fauxborn is an Aequor Chorus with "Uteri Somnia". They had separate days in the V2.5.1 "Echoing Wishes" rotation.
  • Lotan and Lotan: Cetarchon are both Chaos, but only Cetarchon has a stated class (Assault).
  • Ramona and Ramona: Timeworn received separate Absolute Axiom effects in V2.4.2.

A variant can have a different class from the original, and owning one doesn't give you the other. Translations also vary between notes: "Oath-Breaker·Ogier" (Ogier: Oathbound), "Chain·Helot" (Helot: Catena), "The Fauxborn · Murphy", and "Meltdown Doll", the name used for the Doll: Inferno banner "Absolute Prophet" in February 2025.

04

Limited vs standard Awakeners

The permanent Awakening pool is called Realms Research. Limited Awakeners debut on time-limited Character Event Awakenings. The key rules in the notes:

  • From V2.0 (January 2025), new limited Awakeners are no longer guaranteed to join the permanent pool or to rerun on a set schedule.
  • V2.4.0 (November 2025) added all SSR "Faded Legacy" limited Awakeners to Realms Research. The same notes list that group as Lily, "24", Ryker, Hameln, Tawil, Tulu, Murphy, Miryam, Sorel, Salvador, Thais, Helot: Catena, Daffodil, Wanda and Horla. Later limited Awakeners are grouped under "Astral Reign".
  • Since V2.5.1, permanent Awakeners can raise CON, Attack and Defense through Gnostic Potential with Pure Core, while limited Awakeners start with it full.
  • Since V2.5.0, a surplus copy of a permanent Awakener gives 1 Soul Rewind Shard and a surplus limited copy gives 2.

How to get Morimens characters

  • Character Event Awakening: each new Awakener gets a limited banner next to a matching Wheel of Destiny banner. A Trial Event lets you play them first and pays Silver ×40 and Luminous Core ×1. Vivian's banner is "Indolent Sorceress".
  • Reruns: older limited Awakeners return in "Triune Verdant" banners, where you switch between three Awakeners. Pickman, Tulu and Lily share one from November 2 to November 30, 2026.
  • Rotations and selectors: past events included a daily rate-up rotation ("Echoing Wishes", May–June 2026), weekly realm banners with free first pulls ("One in a Million", February–March 2026) and a self-select banner for Faded Legacy Awakeners ("The Timeless Call", October–November 2025).
  • Free copies: players who finished the 2.5th anniversary "Dreamy Rendezvous" tasks (May 18 – June 29, 2026) received Saya for free.
  • New players: V2.2.2 (May 2025) added "Argent Dawnlight", a free 5-pull guaranteed to include one of the 20 permanent Realms Research Awakeners, which you can redo until you're happy with it.

The V2.4.2 notes add that every 5 Awakenings give at most 2 SSR items. Check current banners before spending.

FAQ

How many characters are in Morimens?

Official English notes through V2.6.2 name 62 Awakeners across the four realms: 21 Chaos, 13 Aequor, 15 Caro and 13 Ultra. That count comes from patch notes, not an in-game screen, so treat it as a minimum.

Who is the main character in Morimens?

You play as the Keeper at Mythag University, who links with Awakeners to face the crisis described on the Steam store page. The Keeper isn't an Awakener. V2.6.2 notes mention a Keeper appearance setting that changes how some Awakeners address you.

Who is the newest Morimens character?

Vivian, a Chaos Chorus Awakener added in V2.6.2 and voiced by Yuduki Kazuka. Her banner runs from October 19 to November 16, 2026. As of October 20, 2026, no later Awakener had been announced.

Who are the male characters in Morimens?

The V2.4.0 "Guaranteed Male Character Awakening" (November 2025) listed Castor, Doresain, Pickman, Pollux, Tulu, Salvador, Ryker and Hameln. That list covers only limited Awakeners available up to that date, so later releases are not included.

Can I still get older limited Awakeners?

Yes, but timing varies. The 15 Faded Legacy Awakeners have been in the permanent Realms Research pool since V2.4.0, and newer limited ones return through rerun banners such as Triune Verdant. For limited Awakeners released since V2.0, reruns have no set schedule.
