Morimens covenants are gear sets that your Awakeners wear alongside their Wheel of Destiny. Each set gives a 3-piece bonus and a 6-piece bonus, and the 6-piece effect is Team Unique. Each Covenant also carries a primary attribute plus transcribed attributes that you can upgrade. Since V2.6.0, you can also bond a Covenant to one Awakener.

This guide uses the official Steam patch notes up to V2.6.2, checked on October 20, 2026. Those notes print the full set effects for only a handful of Covenants, and those are the ones quoted here. Everything else is marked as unconfirmed. The build tips are editorial.

01

How Covenants work

  • Set bonuses. Official notes write set effects as "(3)" and "(6)". Since V2.3.4.0, the 6-piece text shows "Team Unique" as an Affix, and a "!" icon appears when a lineup has duplicate 6-piece sets.
  • Attributes. Each Covenant has a primary attribute. Since V2.4.2.0, the details screen shows each transcribed attribute's strength on a scale from 1 to 8, and level and transcription progress are combined into "Covenant Completion".
  • Stats that count. Some kits read Covenant stats directly. V2.4.0.0 says Celeste's talent counts the Realm Mastery that "Celeste, her WoD, and her Covenant have". The anniversary wheel To the Stars counts Sigil Yield from "the wielder, Wheel of Destiny, or Covenant".
  • Unlocks. V2.4.0.0 lowered the Keeper Level needed for "Verboten Covenant", "Covenant Dismantle", "Covenant Upgrade" and "Covenant Transcription" from 35/45/55 to 25/35/45.

V2.5.3.0 also corrected Organic Form's English effect text to: "For every 1% of Death Resistance reduced, the Aliemus generated by the wielder +0.15%." The note doesn't say which piece count that effect belongs to. The notes also name Returnal Line as having a 6-piece set effect, but they don't print it. April's Praise comes from 2024 notes, so check its current text in-game.

How to get Covenants

  • Rose Scrip Exchange. Since V2.6.0.0, Steppenwolf and Organic Form can be redeemed without limit in the Exchange Store.
  • Exchange unlocks. Since V2.4.0.0, Steppenwolf, Scarlet Embrace, Crimson Pulse, Feast from Afar, Cursed Rabbit and Further Evolution unlock in the Exchange Store at Investigation Level 25. Exchanges for Organic Form, Paradox, Dream of Medicine and Ring of Chamber 36 unlock at Keeper Level 56/57/58/59.
  • Investigation Badge redemptions. The Astral Reign chapter sets above are bought with Investigation Badges. V2.6.0.0 added Badge rewards to seasonal mode levels and a Sediment Exchange listing of Investigation Badge ×100 for Radix Sediment ×15.
  • Verboten Covenant. This is an Interlude stage with recommended levels of 25/35/45. The notes don't list its drops, so check the stage preview in-game.
  • Upgrade material. Recent character gameplay events, including the V2.6.2 Vivian event and the Pickman rerun, offer unlimited exchanges for "Thousand Faces Seal". When you run short, Covenant upgrades and transcription can use replacement materials set in "Replacement Settings". Since V2.4.0.0, Silver can no longer cover the shortfall.

04

Upgrading and transcription

Covenant Upgrade raises a Covenant's level, and Covenant Transcription generates its attributes. V2.6.0.0 added "Auto Transcribe". It runs up to 100 times and stops once at least one attribute reaches strength 8 or higher, as long as you have enough materials. Since V2.6.2, when you transcribe a bound or Lineup Covenant, the game shows that Awakener's recommended attributes and marks results that hit them.

05

Bound Covenants (Covenant Bond)

Covenant Bond arrived in V2.6.0.0 and unlocks at Investigation Level 60, under "Awakener Details - Covenant".

  • Bonus. The bound Covenant's primary attribute is increased by an extra 50%, and the Covenant is upgraded to Prismatic quality.
  • Lineups. When you deploy that Awakener, the bound Covenant is used by default. You can swap in other Covenants, but you lose the main attribute bonus.
  • Storage. Bound Covenants leave "Supplies-Covenants" and stop taking up space there, but you can still enhance and transcribe them.
  • Unbinding. Dissolving a bond costs ×10 components of the same set's Covenant for each component.
  • V2.6.2 fixes. Lineup codes now import bound Covenants correctly, and the Growth Guide's "Training Overview" shows each Awakener's currently bound Covenants.

Covenant build tips by role (editorial)

These tips are editorial judgment as of V2.6.2 (October 2026). They follow the three class groups used in official Awakening notes: Assault, Warden and Chorus.

  • Start from the game's recommendations. V2.6.2's Growth Guide shows each Awakener's "Recommended Covenants" and recommended attributes. The Covenant filter marks those sets. Since V2.5.3.0, recommendations also change at certain Keeper Levels.
  • Assault. The offensive 3-piece bonuses in the table are DMG Amplification (Photosynthesis Ritual), Crit. Rate (Cocoon of the Maiden) and Crit. DMG (April's Praise). Choose the 6-piece by its trigger. Cocoon of the Maiden needs Embryo consumption and Tentacles, and Photosynthesis Ritual needs Ultra Space.
  • Warden. Sweet Slug's Death Resistance +25.2% is the only defensive 3-piece in the confirmed list. Its 6-piece needs "Annihilation" and a Tentacle Stance switch, so it only pays off on kits with those mechanics.
  • Chorus. None of the confirmed sets is support-specific, so follow the recommended attributes. If a kit scales with a stat, as Celeste's talent does with Realm Mastery, transcribe toward that stat. See Realm Mastery.
  • One 6-piece per lineup. The 6-piece effect is Team Unique, so give each Awakener a different full set. Check the "!" icon before you start a run.
  • Bond your main damage dealer first. The extra 50% primary attribute is the largest Covenant boost we can verify, and unbinding is expensive.
  • Use the unlimited sets as stopgaps. Steppenwolf and Organic Form cost no limited resources to redeem. Only Organic Form's effect line appears in the notes, so read Steppenwolf's set text in-game first.

FAQ

What are Covenants in Morimens?

Covenants are gear sets for Awakeners. They give 3-piece and 6-piece set bonuses, a primary attribute, and transcribed attributes rated from 1 to 8.

How do I get Covenants in Morimens?

Redeem them in the Exchange Store, where Steppenwolf and Organic Form are unlimited since V2.6.0.0. You can also buy the Astral Reign sets with Investigation Badges or earn them from challenge stages. Character events supply Thousand Faces Seal for upgrades.

What is the best Covenant build in Morimens?

Start from the Growth Guide's Recommended Covenants for your Awakener, use one 6-piece set per Awakener, and bond your main damage dealer first. This is an editorial view as of V2.6.2.

Can I move a bound Covenant to another Awakener?

Yes, but you have to dissolve the bond first. That costs ×10 components of the same set's Covenant for each component.
