Morimens wheels, officially Wheels of Destiny (WoD), are SSR and SR cards you equip to an Awakener in your Lineup. Each one adds a main stat such as Crit. Rate, Crit. DMG, Realm Mastery or Sigil Yield, plus an effect for its wielder. Most limited SSR wheels are built around one Awakener's kit. You get them from WoD Event Awakening banners, free event rewards and shop exchanges.
This page uses the official Steam patch notes and the official "Awakener & Wheel of Destiny Introduction" posts up to V2.6.2, checked on October 20, 2026. The effect text below comes from those sources. Where they say nothing, we say so instead of guessing. That includes WoD banner rates and the Investigation effects of most older wheels. All recommendations are editorial.

How Wheels of Destiny work
- Main stat and Additional Ascensions. The official cards compare the main stat at "No Additional Ascensions" and at "Additional Ascensions 12". Honeyed Deceit, for example, goes from 36 to 72 Realm Mastery, and Cetus Occasus from 10.8% to 21.6% Sigil Yield.
- Effect values. Effects list four values, such as +30/40/50/60%. The cards don't explain what moves a wheel from one value to the next, so check the in-game card.
- Duplicates. Since V2.4.0.0, new copies automatically ascend the wheel and decompose the extras. Since V2.5.0.0 you can no longer dismantle wheels yourself. Overflow standard wheels give "Fate Rewind Shard" ×1 and overflow limited wheels give ×2.
- Team Unique. V2.6.0.0 marked Fragrant Morphogenesis, Sakura Reveries and Fairy Tale in the Mud as Team Unique, so don't plan two of them in one lineup.
- Traphase is separate. Wheels also appear as cards in the Traphase PvP mode, with their own Arithmetica Costs and balance changes. Those changes don't describe how the wheel works in Investigation.

How to get wheels
- WoD Event Awakening. Recent Awakener launches have each come with a paired wheel banner. In V2.6.2, "Putrefying Irrigation" features The Seer's Riddle from October 19, 9:00 to November 16, 9:00.
- Reruns. The "Sylvan Omen" banner lets you switch between three older wheels. Unbearable Freedom, Power of the Pious and Vain Regrets run until November 2, 9:00. Paradoxical Realism, Hymn of the Sovereign and Grace Through Pain then run from November 2 to November 30.
- Standard banner. Since V2.4.0.0, all SSR Faded Legacy limited wheels are in the permanent "Wheels of Rotation" awakening.
- Free SR event wheels. Character gameplay events have each awarded a limited SR wheel. "And Then There Were None" gives She and Her Tree Hole for Vivian, and the Pickman rerun gives Thirsting Brush.
- Commemorative SSR wheels. The V2.6.2 "Insight Mind" event gives Imago's Clinic ×4 for free, plus ×12 more with Premium Archives (Silver Prime ×1680).
- Exchanges. Lightless Exchange carries the SR event wheels for Faded Legacy Awakeners. Silver Purchase sells the past Chronicle wheels Special Training and School Day for Silver ×1000 each. Since V2.4.0.0, each redeemable wheel has a monthly exchange limit of 3.

The V2.6.1.0 notes call Ever Sunward "Born Towards the Sun". Each banner also has a free SR wheel from its event: Days Gone By Like a Shadow (Ogier), Serene Truth (Caraboo), Undying Hungerbone (Lotan), Compass to False North (Pontos), Muddied Fairy Tale (Saya) and Rota Fortunae (Arachne). Best wheel choices as of V2.6.2 (editorial)
These picks are our editorial judgment as of V2.6.2 (October 2026), based on the effect text above.
- Put signature wheels on their own Awakener. Honeyed Deceit, The Living Cage and Eternal Weave name their owner's mechanics: "Crimson Furnace", "Raging Waves", "Pursuit" and "Dimension Shuttle". On anyone else, part of the effect never triggers.
- Pull the Awakener before the wheel. For the same reason, a signature wheel does its job only next to its Awakener.
- Flexible picks. V2.5.2.0 lists Power of the Pious among effects that give the team Crit. DMG, raised to 11/14/17/20%. That makes it a reasonable cross-team choice for crit-based teams. Ever Sunward, The Seer's Riddle and Cetus Occasus trigger on generic actions like Exalt, "Defense", "Strike" and Fixed Corrosion, so they are less locked to one kit.
- Extra copies. On the cards we checked, Additional Ascensions double the main stat. We'd chase extra copies only for your main damage dealer.
